This month ,adidas Consortium and Highs and Lows complete an EQT trilogy.

In 2014, the first collaboration with the Australian footwear retailer resulted in an EQT Guidance 93. In late 2016 Highs and Lows worked on an EQT Support 93 inspired by Frankenstein cars and the Australian outback. Their final installment in the series is a luxurious rendition of the EQT Support ADV.

Highs and Lows is Western Australia’s premier footwear retailer with three boutiques in the geographically remote city of Perth. Now veterans when it comes to working in the EQT range – adidas’ early 1990s performance running line – the team at Highs and Lows demonstrates a masterful execution on this EQT Support ADV. A well-balanced color scheme and sophisticated mix of fabrics and materials is key in any Consortium release. While many collaborations tell a story about inspiration and explain the creative journey towards the final product, for this project the concept is the actual design itself: HAL has refined this model by fine-tuning all visual aspects, by applying the finest details to round off an innately strong and distinct silhouette.

Over the three year period that adidas Consortium and Highs and Lows have been collaborating, the EQT range has enjoyed a real renaissance. The EQT Support ADV is perhaps the most street-ready model due to its profile and clean aesthetic. Here it is elevated to a new height of luxury by Highs and Lows.

NikeLab will be releasing new colorways of the newly introduced 07 KMTR (Komyuter) silhouette. While the first set of releases were part of Nike’s ACG line, these next few pairs will have no affiliations with the ACG line.

NikeLab’s technically minded Komyuter Premium sneaker draws its complex inspirations from a humble brown paper bag.

This water resistant, all-conditions shoe was created for urban wear in a range of environments for both day and night. This style comes with a four-way stretch water-resistant upper shell that conforms to the foot through an integrated draw cord and stabilizes via a forefoot strap equipped with a Fidlock magnetic buckle. Ease of access is key and these sneakers may seem complex in their build but their function is executed with ease.

The Nike KMTR (Komyuter) will be debuting in an all-new “Sequoia” colorway for the fall season. Come dressed in a seasonal color scheme. This Nike KMTR features an Olive-based upper that comes with its signature buckle strap, Gum soles and 3M Reflective detailing.

The latest colorway, a stark black and white look in lightweight nylon, might not be affiliated with All Conditions Gear after all.
The entire urban commuter-inspired model lacks any of the premium NikeLab features like tumbled leather and tonal traits and instead features simple reflective panels on the heel and off-white Sail hints on the unique drawstring backing to tighten the KMTR depending on your preference. There’s no ACG branding but the overall thought process remains right in line with the updated ACG line. It focuses on simplicity and the everyday commute of urban travelers with somewhat rugged materials to get you through the day.

Norse Projects is among the labels responsible for putting Scandinavia on the international style map. Since launching in 2004, the Copenhagen- based brand has focused on both casual and performance clothing, but here – in an exciting collaboration with adidas Consortium – it turns its attention to footwear.

Using the Terrex – an outdoor pursuits-focused model – and Campus 80s – a lifestyle classic – as templates, Norse Projects has created “Layers” – a sneaker pack in influenced heavily by the natural surroundings in its native Denmark.

The small, Danish islands of Fur and Møn are known – in geological circles – for the rock formations visible on their coastal cliffs. The cliffs reveal a cross-section of layers of different rock types compressed over many thousands years, and provide the inspiration for the Terrex. The shoe is constructed using multiple, translucent layers which are welded together to form a strong, hardwearing outer shell. Within the layering is a GORE-TEX® membrane, which provides high-level weather protection; a model designed for (and inspired by) the outdoors.

The Terrex takes its colorway from light, sandy tones and using highly- technical materials and construction but in a subtle manner.

adidas continues to revamp some of their most respected running models from the past with new technologies to shed a light on how they can repurpose iconic retros for the modern tastemaker.
adidas EQT Cushion ADV, a model that takes most of its cues from the original adidas EQT Cushion ADV. The Cushion ADV features traditional ribbon branding on the side panels with premium perforated leather on the heel. The slimmed down upper is comprised of a sleek breathable mesh with regional exclusives paying homage to past colorways with Enduring Scarlet landing in Asia, Sub Green arriving in North America, and Classic Blue dropping in Europe, all on August 12th. adidas Originals even created a documentary on the ‘Class of ’91’ models to pay tribute for that legendary time in their running footwear line.

This duo consists of an all-black and all-white pair of NMD_R1s. Each shoe features a Primeknit upper with Japanese branding on the midsole blocks and back pull tab. The Boost on both matches the colorway, which means another appearance of colored Boost for the black pair.
The midsole text references Adidas as "The Brand With the Three Stripes," a phrase that's been spotted else where on sneakers from the German sportswear powerhouse.

Adidas is bringing one of its modern innovations to one of its throwback basketball silhouettes from the 1990s. This time, the brand with the three stripes is putting its Primeknit material on the Adidas Crazy 8.

Originally called the KB8 when Kobe Bryant was signed with adidas. Now they’re taking the classic basketball silhouette and giving it a Primeknit makeover . Today, they officially unveiled the adidas Crazy 8 ADV PK (Primeknit) dubbed, “Lusso.”

Longtime collaboration partners ASICSTIGER and Patta have teamed up again to deliver a new take on the 1987 ASICSTIGER classic, the GEL-LYTE.

The original GEL-LYTE runner model set the mark for GEL-LYTE series 30 years ago, featuring many innovations at the time benefitting athletes, including lightweight synthetic fabrics, reflective materials and GEL technology. The GEL-LYTE also functioned as a visual blueprint for the series, with unique ways of colour blocking.
