For Spring/Summer 2018, adidas Originals and United Arrows & Sons announce a new collaborative collection, reinterpreting classic 3-stripes silhouettes through the renowned Japanese retailer’s unique sartorial lens across apparel and footwear.
Drawing from adidas Originals’ extensive design archives, each piece in the collection translates sportswear design language into an understated mode, elevated through subtle graphic hits and branding details. For apparel, this manifests in two approaches; a zip-up hooded sweatshirt, t-shirt, track top and track pant in an essential heather grey and navy colour scheme; and a range of blacked-out jackets, jerseys and track pants with all-over tonal branding motifs.
Uniting each piece is the collection’s seasonal branding hit, a reinterpretation of the two brand’s logos by Japanese collage artist Kosuke Kawamura, known for his distinctive “shredding” technique. This is applied to pieces in branding hits and all-over motifs to add subtle flair to the range.

The collection is brought to life through a series of images featuring rising football star Kasper Dolberg who plays for both the AFC Ajax and Danish National Football team. True to United Arrows & Sons’ understated approach to style, the collaboration culminates as a clean reinvention of historic adidas visual language, underpinned by contemporary design perspectives and the 3-stripes’ unbeatable formula for iconic sportswear design.

adidas teams up with Hong Kong based sneaker boutique JUICE this month, bringing the CLOT-helmed sneaker store’s distinctive visual aesthetic to the newest NMD silhouette, the NMD Racer.
Focusing on the NMD Racer’s competitive running influences, this latest release combines trademark elements of JUICE’s identity with pure performance-led design to celebrate the form-meets-function philosophy of this future classic silhouette.
Featuring a sock-fit Primeknit upper, decorated with the iconic Alienegra motif in a reflective monochrome print, premium suede panels to the heel, and an eyestay for structure, the sneaker is finished with essential welded 3-stripes insignia and a branded heel-pull in the Alienegra font. The silhouette’s signature BOOST tooling is rendered in a black-out colourway, elevated by a translucent outsole featuring running-inspired spikes.

adidas has bestowed a clean new colorway on the Predator Tango 18+ TR that sees the sleek silhouette don an olive paint job. The sock-like upper of the Tango 18+ TR is dressed in a tonal olive with three stripe detailing and a shiny olive heel cap donning the “PREDATOR” branding. A crisp white outsole cuts between the tonal upper and a matching olive outsole. The shoe gets a pop of color from the bright orange lining found inside the ankle.
This new colorway will be available on January 5th, 2018 at limitEDitions Barcelona .
