NIKELAB AIR UNLIMITED
24 . 11 . 16
The Men´s Nike Air Unlimited Shoe brings back a 90’s b’ball shoe that was ahead of its time.
Made with a one-piece upper, it locks you in with a bootie construction and a 4-strap system. In 1993 the Nike Air Unlimited took cross-pull straps to the next level. It was so serious about containing your foot that it came with an instruction booklet explaining how to strap in. This modern version matches that classic look stitch-for-stitch, including all 4 straps and the retro neoprene bootie to help you feel snug and stable.

NIKELAB X ROUNDEL AIR ZOOM SPIRIDON
LAUNCHING 23RD NOVEMBER
In 2013, Nike collaborated with Roundel on a pair of Air Max models (the AM1 and AM90) in celebration of the 150th anniversary of London’s Underground transit system. The design employed a rectangular woven Jacquard pattern inspired by the unmistakable seat upholstery found in railway cars, which was created by Misha Black for the District Line in 1978. The collaboration set a greater precedent of contextualising the Big Smoke’s rich transport heritage within the city’s broader cultural history.
This year, the second iteration of the collaboration honours the centennial of Transport for London’s iconic typographic identity: the Johnston font. Applying it to the Nike Zoom Spiridon, NikeLab and Roundel pay respect to ‘90s garage rave fashion and the century-old font with 3M hits and bold prints.
The Johnston font has defined London’s Underground — on signage, in pamphlets and more, as well as the city itself. The diamond “tittles,” dotting the lowercase “i” and “j,” and the base of the exclamation point and question mark, are among the font’s most recognizable features. In application, the typeface is most familiar when locked up with the Underground’s famous roundels.
On the NikeLab x Roundel Zoom Spiridon, a sample of the Johnston font is sublimated and printed in a repeat pattern and engineered to cover each shoe equally. A transparent monofilament mesh covers the print on the shoe’s vamp. Further embellishments include an iridescent synthetic leather Swoosh and a fully reflective mudguard, which serve to extend the silhouette’s signature 3M taping and further amplify its reflectivity.

ADIDAS CONSORTIUM X PACKER NMD RUNNER PK
LAUNCHING 19TH NOVEMBER
For the latest adidas Consortium collaboration, Packer has created an NMD Runner in a colourway that pays tribute to their long legacy and vast knowledge in the field. Bold and simple, vibrant and fresh, but also steeped in history, the colours conjure the image of athletic apparel worn in years bygone.
With the NMD, adidas has firmly established a philosophy that emphasizes the close relationship between heritage design references and progressive product innovation. Launched as part of the Originals range, it is equipped with a boost™ sole, flexible upper – Primeknit in this case – and an elasticated ribbed collar for sock-like comfort.
It is almost as if the sneaker’s colourist has time-traveled forward from the mid-1980s. A light blue/indigo upper with navy and turquoise detailing plus flashes of red combine on a shoe reminiscent of the iconic tracksuits from that era. Inspired by a vintage piece from the adidas vault, Packer reminds us of the rush of color so omnipresent in sportswear 30 years ago.
The adidas Consortium x Packer NMD Runner PK takes established colours and presents them in a way that looks completely 2016. It is a bold statement in an often-monochrome marketplace.

The vast, barren terrain of the Sahara Desert provides inspiration for END.’s AW16 adidas Consortium collaboration, dubbed ‘Sahara’. Both the execution and the materials draw their aesthetic from the 3.5 million square miles of undulating sand dunes which sprawl across much of the African continent.
The ZX 700 Boat, a more traditional silhouette, arrives in various shades of desert-camouflage beige, while the material-mix – smooth, natural-shade leather and rough suede – mimics the diverse surfaces found in arid landscapes. The NMD’s deep-green colour, gum sole and geometric, honeycombed upper are references to cacti, one of the few plants capable of growing and thriving in such environments.
