The creator of some of Nike's most celebrated special edition sneakers is working with the brand again. Leaked images show that graffiti artist Stash has teamed up with Nike on a pair of Air Zoom Spiridons done in his signature blue colorway.

Details setting this pair apart are the embroidered arrow on the toe, Stash's marks on the heel pulltab, and the spray paint can cap pattern on the insole.

On Wednesday, November 29, the acclaimed graffiti artist will see his signature palette and adoring spray can logo adorn the Zoom Spiridon. Officially outfitted in Harbor Blue and Heritage Cyan, Stash’s tag hits the shoe’s heel tab to punctuate the look of this highly anticipated collab.

The Sneaker Exchange 2017 challenges adidas Consortium’s retail partners to overcome geographical distance and cultural differences to find common ground and collaborate on a footwear pack.

The November installation of the Sneaker Exchange comes from New Jersey’s Packer Shoes and Berlin’s Solebox. Both luminaries in their respective territories, Packer and Solebox actually embrace aforementioned geographical distance and the space that separates them. They use the famous Silfra Rift, a point on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge where North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, as the basis for their UltraBOOST MID and an Energy Boost.

The visual inspiration for the sneaker pack is The Silfra Rift, and inland lake in Island. Its crystal clear water rises from deep within the earth and offers great underwater visibility with a rich array of blue tones.

The Primeknit upper on both models echoes air bubbles rising to the water’s surface, while the structure on the BOOSTTM midsole continues a similar texture. The UltraBOOST MID is delivered in a darker Primeknit, capturing the essence of the deeper waters. The Energy Boost is lighter and the translucent overlay adds to the model’s striking, aquatic gradient.

At the Silfra Rift, divers are able to touch the North American and Eurasian plates at the same time. Besides the visual references the shoes also offer actual data: the depth chart lines of the shelf can be found on the grosgrain stripe detailing while precise co-ordinates – longitude/latitude – of each store’s location are imprinted on both models, too.

During the Sneaker Exchange it has become custom for partners to brand one shoe, applying logos and familiar detailing. Here, Packer Shoes and Solebox develop this notion further: they have their model, but the stores’ logos use each other’s typeface. A smart way to commemorate the collaboration.

With most installations of the Sneaker Exchange 2017, Solebox and Packer Shoes find beauty in nature and translate it across an elegant, contemporary sneaker pack.

Pusha T and adidas return with their latest iteration of the iconic EQT. Taking inspiration from New York City bodegas, the EQT Support Ultra King Push “Bodega Babies” takes the most innocuous of settings and materials and translates them to a forward-thinking street-ready sneaker.

London’s Footpatrol and Hong Kong’s Juice bring the latest instalment to life. Together the stores rework two cult classic models resulting in ground-breaking executions upon which both parties leave their firm mark. Above all, with authenticity true to themselves and one another.

Both London and Hong Kong are thriving cities for city dwellers and seekers. With travel and tourism comes an economy for souvenirs and memorabilia. From Hong Kong’s sprawling street-level market stalls to the traders who operate just along the street from Footpatrol’s Soho store, a shared appreciation for this form of trade and commerce served as the reference point for this release.

Nike Sportswear designer Ben Kirschner has made waves with his Nike Air Force 1 redesign with military functionality in mind. The Nike Air Force 1 'Special Field' series had utilized paracord military straps, ballistic nylon, and weather resistance all while keeping the traditional Air Force 1 midsole and outsole unit intact for an impressive feat of ingenuity.

The Nike SF-AF1 Mid Mushroom option featuring a light tan combination of tumbled leather and ballistic nylon throughout. Double zippers are added to the heel for a unique twist while traditional Swoosh branding is missing entirely from the side panel.
