The Munich-based contemporary fashion brand brings its commitment to premium materials and craftsmanship to a poolside-inspired pair of uncaged UltraBOOST and accompanying slogan towel.

The original UltraBOOST that launched in the early months of 2015 quickly established itself as the most impressive example of the high-performance functionality and meticulous craftsmanship that has come to define the adidas running shoe roster. The UltraBOOST Collective was formed later that year as an opportunity for some of the most revered brands and designers from around the world to create their own distinctive take on the shoe.

The adidas Consortium x A Kind Of Guise will launch at limitEDitions Barcelona on Saturday 25th of August.

For their UltraBOOST collaboration, Munich-based brand A Kind of Guise teamed up with the adidas Consortium team and created the fictitious ‘AKOG Athletic Club’. Imagining the perfect holiday experience as a blend of gentle laps around the track, a spot of sightseeing and long lounging by the pool, the ‘club’ offers its guests the finest companions in the form of a new UltraBOOST style and accompanying towel. Their UltraBOOST boasts a chalk white Primeknit upper with a raised, rippling wave effect and an uncaged construction with wide, wraparound tonal lacing to emphasise the subtle yet distinctive textures. The BOOST cushioning is cloaked in a multicoloured, marble-effect outsole that lends just enough color to catch the eye of fellow holiday-makers. Offsetting the refined stylings of the AKOG UltraBOOST is a bold, premium velour towel, playfully adorned with the bright yellow slogan: ‘No Worries We’ve Done This Before’. A mantra worthy of those who are equally at home pounding the poolside pavement or relaxing under the sun.

Connecting the dots between the hip-hop’s New York birthplace and the contemporary Tokyo that the esteemed retailer calls home, United Arrows & Sons and adidas Originals join forces once again to present their sophomore collection for Autumn/Winter 2018.

Channeling the era of ‘the four elements’: b-boys and graffiti, MCs and turntables, the collection is a playful-yet-considered nod to 80s hip-hop, borrowing the distinct style of the era to present a full range of reworked Three Stripe classics.

Utilising the work of Tokyo graffiti artist WANTO at its core, the collection is identified by the artist’s hand drawn trefoil logo that emulates the subway-bombing style of 80s New York, which lends a charismatic DIY feel.

adidas link up with long time collaborator Pharrell Williams once again for new takes on the Tennis HU & NMD HU styles.

The Pair draw inspiration from East Africa for the capsule collection consisting of three HU NMD's & two V2 Tennis HU's . All with East African inspired patterns and motifs throughout.

The adidas originals Solar Hu Collection will launch at limitEDitions Barcelona on Saturday the 18th of August .

The adidas Consortium ‘Workshop’ is a place for exploring the pure story of adidas Originals: designed without affiliation or association by the brand’s in-house team, the footwear showcases their pioneering outside-the-box creative and technical thinking. The resulting collections are an ode to both the functional innovation and cultural touchstones at the heart of adidas Originals. The first two Workshop collections, launched at the end of 2017 and beginning of 2018, each focused on retro-futuristic ‘A//D’ packs. Each pair offered a ‘parallel-dimension’ take on much-loved but little-seen silhouettes of the past, upgrading each with premium, contemporary details and space-age colourways.
